Time for another round up of things I have been reading lately. There's quite a few businessy related articles this month as I've been trying hard to learn how to get people to visit my new website. But there's also some awesome DIYs that I really must find time to try.
This year I am trying to be brave and get myself out there a little bit more. It's hard because people might say no, and that makes me a little bit sad. But, just sometimes, they say yes! And that's exactly what the lovely folks at Blog and Buy Sale said when I applied to take part in their Spring Wish List. I'm very excited to have my map notebooks featured alongside some uber-cool handmade products.
Would you like to get 20% off and free delivery on your next order from the say it folksy shop? No minimum spend, and no limit as to how many items you can buy. You could, for example, get one of the new and improved music notebooks for just £6 including delivery (saving you £2.80).
Sound good? To get your voucher all you have to do is sign up to the new say it mailing list before the end of March. You'll receive one email newsletter at the beginning of each month with news about the latest designs and exclusive special offers. I promise there won't be any spam emails and I won't share your address with anyone else.
Sign up using the box up there on the left, or via the say it website, and you'll get your voucher within the next 48 hours (probably much sooner).
I've got five more wonderful Folksy shops to show you today. Big thank yous to each one of them for taking the time to participate. Please click on the shop banners to see all the other amazing handmade things they have in their shops.
I love buttons and wanted a way to have more out on display rather than hiding them away in jars. Buttons aren't just for shirts, they make great decorative items and there are some amazing buttons out there that deserve to be shown off. So I started creating button magnets.
Since it's Easter at the end of this month and spring seems to be springing I've chosen bunnies for this week's Folksy Friday. If you'd like to offer a home to any of these cuties the links below take you through to the Folksy shops for these very talented makers.
Just a quick post from me today to let you know that my brand new website was launched this morning. It's here: www.sayithandmade.co.uk I'm pretty pleased with it and excited to have my own little piece of the web world! And it displays all my new branding too of course.
